El templo de Flores es fruto del servicio misionero que partió de la Iglesia Bautista del Once, fundada por Sydney Sowel en 1906.

A partir de 1909 la obra de evangelización se extendió rápidamente desde la Iglesia de Once hasta Flores, Chacarita y Ciudadela, gracias a las obras ferroviarias de la zona.

El templo de 4 pisos de altura con tres arcos extendidos, alberga a una gran cantidad de fieles que concurren para el culto y hace posible el desarrollo de diversas actividades que la iglesia ofrece en sus amplias instalaciones.
